ROBERT LYALL MILNE It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Robert on Saturday, August 23, 2008. Robert is survived by his mother Ethel; sister Doreen (Barrie Stocks); brother Ivan (Jody Milne); one niece; and four nephews. He was predeceased by his father Ivor. Born on April 4, 1943 in Carman, Manitoba, Robert moved to Winnipeg seeking his vocation and became a Diesel Mechanic. Eventually, Robert happily returned to his small town roots by moving to Winnipeg Beach. Robert had a gruff exterior which was easily turned into a friendly smile. He was a great companion to many to people and will be sorely missed by family and friends. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 13, at 1:00 p.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, 96 First Avenue, Gimli, Manitoba.
